Designer Genes is once again holding a Random Act of Kindness (RAK) Campaign to honor World Down Syndrome Day – March 21st. We’ve set a goal of 321 RAK’s shared on social media using the hashtag #WDSD2017, on our Designer Genes Facebook Group or by email at info@DesignerGenesND.com.
Here’s how you can be a part of the RAK Campaign and share your kindness to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day!
It’s as easy as 1-2-3-4
- On March 21, if you have one, wear a t-shirt that says something about Down syndrome (maybe a Buddy Walk tee?).
- Choose an act of kindness, like taking cookies to a fire station, or checking in on an elderly neighbor—get creative!
- Use one of the WDSD postcards, available above, and give it out or place it with your Random Act. The quantity of acts is up to you!
- Take pictures of the random act and post to our Facebook Event at http://bit.ly/DG321RAK with the hashtag #WDSD17 so we can keep a running tally to try to reach 321! Consider posting to your own social media pages as well –the more exposure, awareness, and celebration, the better!
If you do not use social media, send your RAK information (and a digital photo if you can!) to Jamie@century21morrison.com to get included in the tally!
